Moderators Ukulelemike Posted March 26, 2017 Moderators Share Posted March 26, 2017 Tonight we had cheese. Just...cheese.Our generator, which we use to cook on at night, went on the fritz, and all we had was some cheese. Some nights, it's just about the fuel.

That's what the generator was for. I think it needs a new voltage regulator.  Jim_Alaska

Members 777
Well, ham tomorrow, of course but tonight it'll be a porterhouse, baked potato plus dinner rolls. Like the mac-n-cheese from scratch better, my kids used to like that weird orange type you get from the box. Â Â

Members weary warrior
We're behind you guys up here, supper is in about an hour. It's gonna be "Frito Pie", aka "Haystack". Basically, take all of the fixin's for tacos, put them on the table separately with a big bag of Fritos, and then each person piles all those fixin's on a bed Frito's on their plate to individual taste. Works pretty good for a house full of teenagers. The only thing to cook is a huge pot of pinto beans throughout the day, then brown some ground beef when ready. Members Invicta
Tomato omelette with asparaus. Â My asparagus is growing well. Â It has the shortest season of any British vegetable so I will make the most of it. Edited May 1, 2017 by Invicta 1Timothy115
