Members CJP56
I dumped some cut up potatoes and some pork chops and a can of cream of chicken soup and some Mrs. dash and a little water into my crock pot and let it cook all day. It was pretty good!
Members Invicta
What is Mrs Dash? I did shepherd's pie. (I made it with beef so I suppose it should be called cottage pie.)

Members CJP56
Mrs. Dash is a seasoning mixture that is a substitute for salt. It comes in several different mixtures, such as Italian, original, etc. Supper this evening was something I invented. I browned a pound of beef for stir fry, cut up in bite size pieces. Then I dumped in a can of chili ready diced tomatoes, and some salt and pepper. I baked it for a little over an hour, and then mixed in some cooked spiral pasta. It was great! Also had peas and home made cookies.
Members Invicta
We find that if you steam vegetables you don't usually need to add salt. Togay I did lamb shanks in the slow cooker, Baked potatoes and steamed carrots and beans.
