Members Danny Carlton
We just got a letter from the state. Our kids were on Sooner Care (the state version of Medicaid) but this time, even though we sent them everything they asked, they claimed we didn't (without specifying what we didn't send) and told us we were rejected. Two of our kids have a serious congenital condition and our income is right at the poverty level for a family our size. Obviously we can't afford the medical care, but for some reason they are giving us a hard time about it. Pray that this mess will be straightened out soon. Members trc123
I will pray. I fear this is a sign of things to come. States are out of money and they are pushing back on claims even if they are legit just to buy some time.....

Members Danny Carlton
Sorry for not replying sooner. Thanks so much for the prayers. We are still getting letters almost every day (one for each kids) reminding us they have no medical coverage--this in spite of a call to the agency where they assured us our kids had been reconfirmed weeks ago. It seems the government bureaucrats couldn't get their act together and can't communicate with each other. Officially, the kids have coverage, but it looks like it'll take a week before whoever is in charge of sending terse letters will actually be told. Members John81
Thanks be to God for the coverage! I pray the Lord will unravel the bumbling governmental red tape swiftly. :pray
