<br />I think an interesting poll would be to see who is still living where they were raised. Maybe that is because I am still here.  <img src='http://www.onlinebaptist.com/home/public/style_emoticons/default/icon_biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /><br />

Me too, or should I say, within 1/4 mile of were I was raised. I can look out the door here by my computer and see the spot I was raised on.

Wow, that's neat, BroMatt and Jerry8!

I'm half way across the country from where I was born. I actually lived all over the country while I was growing up, so I can't say I live near where I was raised. I wish I lived near where I was born. :icon_mrgreen:

I find it interesting to ask people that moves into our part of the country what brought them here. Many times it will be that they had family that lived here.

Once while loading in California a fellow from the office came out to the loading dock to talk to me for he saw the truck I drove was from Arkansas. Come to find out I knew his grandparents, knew his father. His grandparents had lived in the rural community I did, his father was about 10 years older than I but I still remember him riding the school bus. Small world once in a while, to be so big at other times.
