Members Madeline
Are you afraid of dying? There were several times in the past I thought that I was going to die, didn't bother me the least bit. Even now I have the full hope and assurance that I will be with my Lord when I depart. Members lettheredeemedsayso
Why would any born again Child of God be afraid of dying?
Members AVDeaf
When you will face to face your dying arrival, then you will be very afraid of it. VERY SCARED! If a person had a heart attack and died immediately, no afraid. BUT when a person is in a hospital, this person will experience his EMOTION to face his dying arrival -- SCARED! I can guarantee you that I am not afraid of death and nor should you be if you are saved. The bible says that God is the God of all comfort (2 Cor. 1:3). So I believe that a true child of God will not be "VERY SCARED" as you say at the time of their "departure", but rather Gods overpowering, all encompassing Love will bring comfort to them at the time of death. You can also die in your sleep. Remember what Paul said? Romans 8:38,39 Martyr_4_FutureJoy
Members Anon
I am going to be honest and say yes I am afraid of death! I am afraid of pain and suffering...and I am afraid of the unknown process...I am afraid of hurting family members and leaving them alone prematurely. And yes I'm saved. Heaven is the easy part. The hard part is getting there....and realizing you will be leaving some brokenhearted people behind.

Members ltl
I vote unsure. It is good if my death can exalt the Lord, and have some value - better to die like Tyndale or even Samson, than dying in obscurity as an old man in the hospital bed. Members Psalms18_28
no, I am not afraid of dying. .....BUT since there hardly any saved family members to look after my son, I hope I can stick around much longer. Only the Lord knows what is best.
Members Anon
Yes Madeline but you do not have children. That changes alot. Thinking about a little boy (or three) crying and saying "When is mommy coming home" makes death something I hope not to have to deal with for many more years to come.
