Benny Hinn-Forcing YouTube to take down videos critical of h

Actually, the Constitution only prevents Congress from establishing laws prohibiting freedom of the press; Benny Hinn can do whatever he wants, including filing lawsuits. States could, under the strictest interpretation of the Constitution, prohibit such airing of videos, but since the internet knows no boundaries, any restrictions would be impossible to enforce.

And actually, freedom of the press refers only to political media -- Congress can't shut down media outlets critical of the government. There's no such thing as freedom of speech nor freedom of expression anywhere in the Constitution. Congress and the states could prohibit offensive and pornographic artwork, but they hide behind the unconstitutional "freedom of expression" mantra.

That's the problem with constitutional interpretation. We consider the Constitution as applying to all Americans, but it much of it applies only to the federal government. Nothing in the U.S. Constitution prohibits states from "establishing" religions if they wanted to, but since the U.S. Constitution has been mis-interpretated for so long, that wouldn't fly. That has been done historically in our past, though.

Just my :2cents ,

Mitch

That's true Mitch.

Sadly, the War of Northern Aggression brought about the accepted twisting of the Constitution. No longer does the constitution chain the Federal government and ensure the liberty of the States and people, but rather it's now used to give the Feds domination over the States and people.

Well what woyuld you do if you found lots of videos talking about IFBs saying they were wrong and false preachers, blah blah blah. Would you HONESTLY think "well they do have freedom of speech and so I shall sit here and just ignore them."?

I overheard three college "intellectuals" discussing and debating politics in Pizza Hut yesterday. These were two males and one female. The female spoke appropriately, so I couldn't hear her from our table. One of the males spoke a little louder than necessary so I could hear most of what he said. The other male, you could tell he really thought of himself as a intellectual, spoke excessively loud so I couldn't help but hearing him.

Anyway, the gist of the conversation was about politics and Christians. I heard stated more than once how America would be such a horrible place if Christians were running the country. Christians are narrow-minded and want to run everyones lives. Christians are wrong on virtually everything. "Middle of the road Christians" (not sure what that means, but expect they meant the more "mainstream", or 'moderate to liberal' sorts), were a bit better but couldn't be trusted. Etc.

I heard so much of this, and worse, when I went to university. There are a large number of folks in America today who either somewhat believe this or are outright certain of it.

Of course, those who push these views are quick to point to the "odd" Christians to support their statements. Such as pointing to the likes of Binny Hinn, or those from Westboro Baptist, Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggert, Ted Haggard, etc.

You could make a video to counter their arguments y'know. Benny Hinn is a false prophet, a blasphemer, and a wolf in sheep's clothing. A complete and utter fraud. This is America, there is a right to freedom of speech. If somebody wants to make a video that is critical of IFB's, to start with they'd better narrow it down to one or two churches that they personally know of prior to making themselves look like an idiot. And secondly, I'd respond with a video of my own if need be. But I'm not about to disallow someone the same freedoms I enjoy.

Benny Hinn fears that people will expose him for the fraud he is.

I am outright certain of this too. By the way, why do you pride yourself on ignorance? There is nothing wrong with being an intellectual....

I don't pride myself on ignorance nor on intelligence. If you notice, I used quotation marks around the term "intellectuals" in a manner to point out that these seemingly self-proclaiming intellectuals were not really all that intelligent.
