Dragonflies are excellent hunters, they don't chase down their prey, they calculate where the prey is going to be and they intercept it. In order to do this, they have to know the distance of their prey, the speed it's flying, and the direction it's moving in. Then it just has to calculate its angle of approach and the bug flies right into its clutches. Pretty good for an insect.  :frog:
