Stop to think

On the street people are passing by,
you see them and maybe say 'hi'
Friends stop to talk with you,
ask how you are and what you do.
You chat a bit and then go on.
You're busy, don't want to stay for long.
But wait before you take your next step!
Think, do they know about their debt?
Are they an their way to hell, for ever lost?
Did you tell them that Jesus died at the cross?
Jesus can wash them white as snow
and in his hands they're save to grow.
Are you the light spreading this precious news?
You are the tool God wants to use!!!

I wrote this poem after hearing the song: People need the Lord.
It's not perfect but it is my best for Gods glory.
