Prepare the way for me Lord
My time is nearly up
My breathing is deep and shallow
I found the winning cup

I will be heading for the seashore
The bright lights around your throne
With my friends and family waiting
To welcome my spirit home

I can see their smiling faces
The angels gently take my hand
My time is nearly over
Before your throne I stand

You will welcome me with open arms
A crown and robe to wear
I laid my burdens down at your feet
In Your kingdom Lord, I share.
