There is a lot of stuff the student text doesn't teach that they have to know. I didn't buy the teacher text for this class and I guess that was a huge mistake.

I personally was never able to use it, but had I homeschooled when Josh was in 7th grade (they only had 7-12 grades at the time), I would have used it. I was really impressed with the content, and the help they were willing to give online.

I had the same problem. It seems that they want to ensure that you buy all the books, including the teachers manuals! :ideas:

Well, having the teacher's manual isn't a real bad idea, if you have several kids and are going to be using the same material for each one, or if you homeschool with a co-op that uses the same things. But it is a pain if you have to tailor curriculums to several kids with several different styles of learning! And expensive, to boot!

I can loan you my teachers ed if you like. I won't need it till at least march. Just pm me. Trust me, you's love it if you used the homesat. We do science and history as a group and even my 3yr old was shouting out answers today.
