Members DaveW
A few days ago Australia beat Sri-Lanka by an innings and about 100 runs and 16 wickets. And Sri-Lanka were ranked 2nd in the world after Australia. I think now daylight is ranked second.... (Who actually knows what I am talking about? )

Members DaveW
I'm lost. :puzzled: Some who visit here I would have wondered about, but not you!!!!!!! Yep Cricket is the game and the World champions are Aussie! To let the rest know a little about it.... In this form (test cricket) each team bats twice and you each have eleven batsmen, but as you need two at all times you only need to get ten out. So you potentially can lose 20 wickets. One team bats first and when they are all out - or think they have enough runs the other team bats. Then when they are all out the first team bats again, then the second team bats again. Anyway Oz got five hundred and lots and only had four guys out, then SriLanka got about 200 before they lost their first ten wicket, so the Aussies just told them to bat again, and they got all out for about 300 runs. Hence they lost all 20 wickets, while the Aussies only lost four, and they batted twice and still didn't get enough runs. Hope it is all clear as mud now!
