I heard a preacher say that since the KJV is in English, the original language must have been English. He also said that his proof is that English is derived from many of the languages of the world. When God changed the languages, he changed everyone and we have migrated back to the original language.

I almost puked up my breakfast when I heard this.

I probably would have spewed too but not from barfing. It would have been from laughing. WHERE do these ppl get this stuff?? Sheesh. You take a stand against a corrupt version and someone has to go extreme with it. :bonK:

Forgive my misspelling in this post, but I've only heard of it, never read it. I heard that in Henry Morris' Defenders Bible he talks about the 10 taledotes in Genesis each being a different author of that part of Genesis (these are the generations of...) and that each of these authors were eye witnesses to the events. If this were true then it's quite possible Moses got his hands on these texts. If that were true than it could also be possible God taught Moses how to at least read the original language. What do you guys think?

The only one who knows the original language is Captain Kirk. The Enterprise traveled back in time to assist the mother ship's colonization in her first visit to a primitive planet called Earth. It is locked away in his captain's log now, but Mr. Spock was overheard saying that it resembled a series of click and guttural grunts and pops.

Nano, nano.

Aye Carumba!! I told you guys that "Men are in love with their minds". They sit in their arm chairs, sip on brandy, and come up with all kinds of nonsense. :lol:

No...Really. I have always heard that the first spoken language was Hebrew.

candlelight

Hebrew = Religion
Greek = Culture
Latin = Law

At one point in time...I have heard the languages broken down into these categories...Is that right?
