Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 18, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 18, 2008  This must be your day to discuss conspiracy theories, Jerry8!! I went out on a limb :lol and voted yes. I am one of those gullibles who believe that there really WAS a giant step for mankind! :cool
Members John81
Of course. I saw it on TV, it has to be true! Many in the black community and many black professors and preachers don't believe man went to the moon though.
Administrators HappyChristian Posted March 18, 2008 Administrators Share Posted March 18, 2008 i have friends who have a relative who doesn't believe it, either. And he is pretty strange about some other things, too. And to be sure and protect yourself from alien abduction or from mind readers...
Members Anon
I've heard all the stories that they filmed it out in Arizona in that special "Area fifty whatever". I don't buy it. Man went to the moon!

And to be sure and protect yourself from alien abduction or from mind readers... That reminds me of a black guy, who was in his 30s, taking university classes where I was. He didn't believe man went to the moon and he got caught up in that "power of the pyramid" craze. He would actually make pyramid shaped hats out of newspapers and wear them on his head while he studied to increase his brain power :loco
Members speerjp1
I voted yes. :thumb A Brasilian friend at church told us that they are taught in their schools down there that the U.S.A. didn't send men to the moon and that the whole thing was a fake. She tends to believe that version of history. :coffee

Members Psalms18_28
yep, I believe it.. Now do we believe there are satellites in space? or robots on mars Do we believe that cochlear implants can help people hear better? One conspiracy I do believe is that people are being prescribed too much Ritalin for ADHD.

Members 282Mikado
I was 8 and saw it on TV while visiting my Uncle in Toronto, Canada so if this was a conspiracy...it was multi-national. Members Chelle
Why not ask Mr. Armstrong and Mr. Aldrin? :lol I live in Houston. Maybe I'll ask them next time I see them. I think Neil Armstrong still lives in this area. BTW, I voted "I don't care one way or the other". It's not a cause I feel particularly strong about.
