George, Ted, and Harry grew up in the same block and were about the same age.

They played together and became friends.

The went to the same grade school, were in the same classes all the way though, and became closer friends.

In high school they played on the school's sports teams and there became best friends.

In their junior and senior years they started dating.

They would go on triple dates and the girls they were dating also became very good friends.

After high school George, Ted, and Harry married and were best men at each other's weddings.

With the pressure of developing careers and starting families they did not see as much of each other.

So they decided to meet along with their wives and have dinner at a restaurant once a month,

where they could reminisce about growing up together and keep abreast of their current lives.

At one particular restaurant they were seated at a table and Harry said,

"My wife and I went to a great restaurant last week.

When we walked in we felt relaxed immediately.

The tables were spaced so that there was privacy.

When you looked out the picture windows, you could see a lake with forested hills behind it.

The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were good.

The service was top notch and the staff was very courteous."

George interrupted and said,

"OK, Harry. You got us. What's the name of the restaurant?"

Harry replied,

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhhhhhhhh, uhhhhhhhhhhhh.

What's the name of that flower which has prickly stems and smells so good?"

Ted hazarded a guess, "Rose?"

Harry excitedly responded,

"Yeah! Yeah! That's it! Rose!"

Harry turned to his wife and asked her,

Rose, what's the name of that restaurant we went to last week?"
