Members JerryNumbers
My cat's getting on for 21-years-old. Might ought to hide that 21 year-old cat, that Korean woman John spoke of will be grabbing it up to add to her collection in her preparation room to be sure her supply will not run out. Members kevinmiller
Not a chance! No one would want to eat meat that was 21 years old. :bonK:
Members JerryNumbers
Go back and read the post about the Korean woman John spoke, seems she like every thing aged, one thing for sure, a 21 year old cat is aged quite well. I know a good Chinese would not over look a 21 year old cat.
Members kevinmiller
Rice doesn't age, though. It's good for years. Kind of like grain. It's great for storing cause it won't go bad. :thumb John, I'm guessing your Korean friend is very old. She may be remembering the time before, during, and following WWII where food was hard to come by, especially with what the Japanese did to the Koreans. Members John81
I think she was born during World War Two. She absolutely remembers the hard times in Korea and still lives as if such could happen again tomorrow. She can be seen in the warmer months cutting certain "weeds" and such from different places around town to take home and cook. Her and her husband have always had plenty since he married her and brought her to the States but you could never tell by the way she is when it comes to food and such.
