The Bible never says that Samson was a judge, so why do people believe  that he was a judge

I believe that his being included as a Nazarite in the book of Judges is a good indication that he was a judge. The Israelites recognized him as such. Shouldn't we?

Sorry, you must have missed this passage:

Judges 15:20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

Verse 16 indicates it was Samson that was in view here.

were all Nazarites judges?  Not everything that the Israelites recognized is stuff that we should.

What are you talking about? He was a Nazarite and a judge. He was not the best judge - but like Lot, even with all his bad/sinful choices, he was still saved. Not one we should follow the example of though. The Bible records the history of that time, including Israel's rebellion and apostasy (which shows the good and bad choices of its leaders).

Oh glory, forgot than when one uses a concordance to make sure to read the verses around the word you are looking up.   Thanks Jerry
