Members BrotherTony
In my 19 months with the Bible studies in the Cowpunchers Cowboy Church of Shelbyville, TN (I attend a Baptist Church, but went to these Bible studies for fellowship and support) I discovered that they had a marriage and partnership class that met on Thursday nights. My friend, who took a floundering Cumberland Methodist Church for the time being, to try to convince them to leave the Methodists and become more Baptistic in nature and practice, teaches this Thursday night class for married couples through the Cowboy Church movement. They work in cooperation with a Mexican SBC church in our area, renting a building from them for services. The resources they use are from many different denominations, but have many IFB resources as well. What sources do you use for marriage counseling? Couples wanting to have devotions together? Do you stick strictly to only IFB material, or do you allow for material that is relevant from other denominations? Thanks.
