Administrators Popular Post PastorMatt 1,113 Posted Thursday at 01:50 PM Administrators Popular Post Report Share Posted Thursday at 01:50 PM I am posting this with permission from the family. One of our members @Alan has gone on to be with the Lord last week. Alan was a great contributor here, and was a blessing and encouragement to many on Online Baptist. Alan will truly be missed on this earth, but he is now with our creator. Please keep the family in your prayers during this time as there are details that need to be worked out. Please feel free to comment below on how Alan was an encouragement and/or blessing to you. HappyChristian, wretched, John Young and 3 others 5 1 Quote Report

Lady Administrators HappyChristian 3,684 Posted Friday at 12:15 AM Lady Administrators Report Share Posted Friday at 12:15 AM Thank you, @PastorMatt. Keeping the family in prayer. Even though I didn't always comment on his posts, I admired his obvious love for the Lord and his desire for people to learn the truths of scripture. 1Timothy115, wretched, John Young and 1 other 4 Quote Report
Administrators Popular Post Jim_Alaska 2,385 Posted Friday at 12:58 AM Administrators Popular Post Report Share Posted Friday at 12:58 AM I counted Bro. Alan as a friend. We never met, but did exchange private messages. I always enjoyed his sermons and devotions. His departure seems sudden because he had a stroke. Still praying for his family. When something like this happens on the mission field, there are always complications. Rebecca, 1Timothy115, Pastor Scott Markle and 3 others 6 Quote Report

Independent Fundamental Baptist Popular Post John Young 664 Posted Friday at 03:20 AM Independent Fundamental Baptist Popular Post Report Share Posted Friday at 03:20 AM This short but powerful message of Alan's sums up his life's mission. He lived it to the very end for the Glory of God. Another classic sermon of his was about heaven and the New Jerusalem. He loved the topic and now he is living it. These two messages from Alan will be a blessing to hear. Though he is gone we will meet him again! 1Timothy115, John Young, wretched and 4 others 4 3 Quote Report

Independent Fundamental Baptist Popular Post Pastor Scott Markle 2,855 Posted Friday at 02:53 PM Independent Fundamental Baptist Popular Post Report Share Posted Friday at 02:53 PM I counted Brother Alan to be a faithful servant of our Lord and a valued online friend. I thank the Lord for the past number of years wherein I was able to experience Brother Alan's friendship and spiritual edification through Online Baptist. I am certainly praying for his wife and family, concerning comfort in their grief and help with their needs. I will miss him here. 1Timothy115, John Young, Jim_Alaska and 2 others 5 Quote Report
