If God's Grace is irresistible......

As SureWord indicated, the Calvinistic system of belief teaches that God's REGENERATING grace is that which is irresistible.  In the Calvinistic system of belief, they generally believe that there is a general/universal call by God's grace unto all sinners, but that sinners who have not first experienced the regenerating grace of God are in bondage to their unregenerate/utterly depraved will and thus will certainly resist that general/universal call of God.  On the other hand, those sinners who have experienced the regenerating grace of God will certainly respond positively through faith unto God's call.  In the Calvinistic system of belief, this regenerating grace of God is that which He administers according to His elective/sovereign will apart from ANY activity/decision of the sinner.  As such, it is this regenerating grace that is their definition for irresistible grace and that is involved in their understanding of God's effectual calling (as opposed to His general/universal call).

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:3

The Gospel and salvation are very simple. It's the devil and those who follow him who make it seem complicated.

I've never seen Jesus nor the Father in heaven make something complicated,   have you? (pl or sing) (anyone)

Then how do they account for this?

If God's Grace is irresistible,

It may be that they do not account for this.

Also if God's Grace is resistible.

Most citizens of earth follow the other voice, instead of Jesus' Voice.    Facts, Evidence and Miracles won't change their minds,  will they ?

In other words,  instead of accounting for "this",  they deny it, ignore it, reject it,  and God gives them over to believe their own delusion(s)  ,  whoever 'they' are .

Surely even the most amazing miracles will not suffice to change the mind of those who don't believe, who reject Jesus. Consider when Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead: the Pharisees couldn't deny it happened, but they decided the best way to deal with it, rather than accept Christ for who He clearly was, was to KILL LAZARUS! Like, there is some real brain power for you!

Was seeking to kill lazarus so strange after all ?

Remember that men sought to kill Jesus and seek to kill Jesus' Followers who who are immersed in His Name , to silence and kill disciples who obey Him.  As Jesus says - do not fear those who can kill the body and then no more - rather fear Him Who Is Able to Destroy both body and soul.

"Amazing miracles" won't change some people's minds/ choices.  Likewise, remember Jesus' Parable - even though someone comes back from the dead to warn them,  they still will not listen.  This concerned much of mankind, not just one or another school.

That was my point: that no matter the miracle, to the carnal mind, no proof of God and His power will suffice, if faith won't. And yes, in a sense it is strange to want to kill Lazarus, after just witnessing Jesus raise him from the dead-because, how could they not think that, if He chose, he would just raise him again? This is how twisted their minds were in their pride and carnality. And then they took He that raised the dead, (and didn't dispute that He did), and killed Him, even taunting Him to bring himself down from the cross! Their minds were truly reprobate to the point of unreasonable.
