Members Popular Post Alan
I would like to pass along an unusual experience I had about three weeks ago that blessed my heart and I would like to pass along the blessing. On Taiwan there are a huge amount of motorcycles. Due to the price of gasoline being very high, parking places very few, and traffic congestion also high, they are smaller in size than in the US (most of the them are from 50cc to 125cc). Also, unlike most countries, they park them on the sidewalks and every place imaginable. Almost always there are people coming and going on the motorcycles, and, as usual, there are people just sitting on the motorcycles either waiting for someone or just idling time away. While passing out some tracts near the downtown Telephone and Post Office area, the sidewalks, as usual, were full of motorcycles. There was an older man, about 60 years years old, sitting on a motorcycle. So, as it was convenient, I gave him a tract, very briefly said a quick," Hello, can I give you a gospel tract" and proceeded to walk back away (there were two rows of motorcycles; unevenly spaced), from the area. As I was weaving around the motorcycles to leave, the man had read the front page of the tract. The tract, in big print, said, "The Love of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ," with John 3:16. He looked up, and as I was walking away he called out and said, wait a minute, so, I turned around, and he extended his hand and with a bright smile on his face said, "I would like to shake your hand. I am a Christian and I really appreciate you giving me the gospel tract. We shook hands and I left as his friend.
