What is the difference between methodist and baptist?

In general, Methodists are more liberal than Baptists are. Woman pastors, LGBT and stuff like that.

I don't have much time right now, but Methodists practice infant Baptism, and Methodists perform baptisms by both immersion and sprinkling, but I've seen more of the sprinkling around here.

Wesely, the founder of Methodists was, in the beginning close to Baptists in doctrine. But it was not long into his movement that they stared to drift radically away from any form of correct doctrine. If he were alive today he would probably be appalled at how much Methodists have changed.

As an "aside", his biography indicates that he never intentionally meant to start a denomination, but his followers picked up the ball and ran with it. Then the digression from any form of correct doctrine began to manifest itself.

Methodists and many Baptists are Armenian in salvation theology. Methodust allow for female pastors, Baptists do not, and many methodust use Nov, wjile many naptusts would just use Kjv!

Methodists also have some groups pro gay and lesbian, more liberal in moral stands then Baptists!
