Members DaChaser
There seems to be more of them coming around locally, and popping up on various Christian boards... Have you dealt with them on their theology?
Members Alan
Yes. But, they just tend to argue, will not listen to reason, will not participate in other threads in a Christian manner.

I have been trying to dialog with various ones on boards, and they seem to be stuck in the mindset same way Mormon is on Joseph Smith in regards to Ellen White! Members MikeWatson1
I remember looking at Walter Martin's Kingdom of the Cults book about 7th day Adventism. He wrote there are 2 branches of it. One has tried to reform the teaching and it resembles mainline Christian denominations teaching.   The other line is pretty much a cult. That emphasizes Ellen White's teaching much more and is more hooked on works for salvation.

Know that Desmond Ford back decades ago tried to get the Sda to get rid of the Investigation Judgement, as he wanted to get to Pauline Justification, but got defrocked for his efforts! Moderators Ukulelemike Posted June 9, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 9, 2020 I have some SDA friends/acquaintances. The wife never much discussed anything with me, but her husband would declare things that I suspect he knew we disagreed with, and when I would go to scripture to dispute it, he would get awfully angry and raise his voice. They really didn't want to hear any scripture, just had their talking points. Always seemed weird, how he wore an almost cartoonishly large cross around his neck. OlBrotherDC
