God and his Word is. A study of the Church will reveal what is required to be a N.T. Church. That being said the Lord did call all seven Churches in the Book of Revelation Churches, though most were warned that thier status of being His Church would be removed if they did not return to the teachings of His Word.

There is a book by Dr. Mike Gass at www.strivingtogether.com on Church History. It is well researched and deals with What a N.T. Church is by the word of God. I have heard his 4 day conference on Church History where he covers these things as well. I just ordered his Book and can wait for it to get here. Just a suggestion for reading.

The scriptures. The church is based on the word of God. Now with the Roman Catholic Church they think the scriptures are based on the RCC.

His Word is the King James Bible--it's literal not some coded message and yes- He meant and still means every word!
