I have a question. My fiancé and I are getting married. We planned on doing a civil ceremony. I am wondering if it is okay to have her uncle get ordained and marry us even thought he is Jewish. Do you think people will be against this? I really need opinions on this

Here in England, if you have a civil ceremony it has to be performed by a registrar, You are not allowed to have religious music. They have a selection of CDs you can select but you can  also bring your own as long as they are not religious.  One of CDs they offered to someone I knew, was Amazing Grace, so work that one out.

In France you have to have a civil ceremony at the town hall to be legally married.  You see marriage parties walkling from the town hall  to the church for a religious ceremony.
