Guest Michael
I have a question. My fiancé and I are getting married. We planned on doing a civil ceremony. I am wondering if it is okay to have her uncle get ordained and marry us even thought he is Jewish. Do you think people will be against this? I really need opinions on this

Members Invicta
Here in England, if you have a civil ceremony it has to be performed by a registrar, You are not allowed to have religious music. They have a selection of CDs you can select but you can also bring your own as long as they are not religious. One of CDs they offered to someone I knew, was Amazing Grace, so work that one out. Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted February 25, 2019 Administrators Share Posted February 25, 2019 In California anyone can be certified to perform marriages. It is an actual license.
Members Miss Daisy
It usually takes five minutes and $20 online to get a license to perform marriages and call yourself a pastor/ preacher. Sad days in America. People in prison do it all the time
Members Invicta
In France you have to have a civil ceremony at the town hall to be legally married. You see marriage parties walkling from the town hall to the church for a religious ceremony.
