Y'all may be right about an "aliens" explanation. We can't rule anything out at this point.

I believe the beast will be a super-charismatic character who will become almost-universally admired, and when he brokers a deal between Jew & Arab that seemingly ends millenia of hatred & causes both sides to disarm, the beast will be hailed as the greatest statesman ever & his fame will rise to new heights. And all this time, he will be indwelt by Satan. So, whatever his explanation may be for millions of people vanishing, I'm sure almost all the world will swallow it without question. (This, of course, will remove almost all opposition to the "mark of the beast".)

I believe that many UFO s are angelic ships like the one that picked up the prophet.

What prophet? One in the Bible? If so, you are referring to Elijah in 2 Kings 2:11. It was no ship of any kind - it was a chariot of fire pulled by horses of fire.

This is another passage.

EZEKIEL 1:15-26

15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

So? It is describing the cherubim and how they move about. It doesn’t need to be anything weird, wacky, or go beyond the Bible. It is referring to spiritual beings. I doubt they are using some physical ship to travel about, even if it is hard to fully understand what they are portraying.

God has 20000 thousand vessels for his angels.

Psalm 68:17

17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

Well, actually, angels don't need wings. When Jesus returned to heaven after His resurrection, He simply rose by His own power. He  didn't use any vehicle.

As for Elijah, God made a special vehicle for him, to present a spectacular departure for Elisha to see & write about.

(A little aside: I lean toward believing that Enoch & Elijah will be the 2 special witnesses of the Revelation, as they have never died,  & thus will be killed to fulfill God's decree that it's appointed for all people to die once, with the only exceptons being the saints that will be raptured.)

Elijah ascended to heaven in a whirlwind.

Yep:

2Ki 2:11  And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

The chariot and horses separated Elijah from Elisha, the whirlwind carried up Elijah.

Wouldn't the Antichrist be known when he makes a Peace covenant with Israel? But of course that would be to those who know to look for this! But then again, if the HS is taken away how will anyone get saved?

He won't be taken away from the earth; He will be taken outta the way of the 'beast's' coming.

So for a quick summary, what does the book teach? I don’t believe any “aliens” are abducting anyone, but that it is a demonic delusion people are falling for.

(Wow - I'm sorry for forgetting to get back to this for so long!)

That's it, in a nutshell - the demonic delusion. It talks about the history of UFO sightings (which date back hundreds if not thousands of years), and note that the descriptions of the UFOs mimicked current technology (a shield, a canoe, etc.). UFO light sightings often defy the laws of physics. The 'little grey men' phenomenon was really introduced by early sci-fi movies - aliens were never historically described as such previously. Satan is not creative; he uses the ideas already present in the world. Alien 'abductions' are always horrific, terrifying experiences, often with a sexual component ("The thief comes not but to steal, kill and destroy.").

The most compelling part of the book is the same subject that saw the researchers get saved. Basically, they'd noted that alien abductions were reported in every people group, religion, country, you name it - except for people self-identifying as 'born-again Christians'. So the researchers got curious and tried to see if they could find any of these born-again folk who had been abducted. And they did find one or two who reported an experience like an abduction (woken in the night, feeling of weightlessness & leaving the body behind, a malignant presence, etc.) - but when these folks experienced this sensation, they called on the Name of Jesus. And in every case where someone called on the Name of Jesus the abduction experience immediately stopped. One account says that it seemed like the malignant presence gave a grunt, like it was in pain, before disappearing. When you read the accounts like this, the demonic influence is quite apparent.

How will people of the world know what to look for, and would they even care ?  Those who serve demons willingly will perhaps welcome with open arms the enemy as world leader,  even though they lose their souls or lost them already, even though the enemy comes only to kill, to steal and to destroy.

How did the Reformers and people the last 500 years identify the anti-christ(s) ?  Trusting the Father and as He Revealed From Scripture !

Why did hundreds of false teachers besides them come up with so many false teachings about anti-christ(s) or about 'the' anti-christ ?    That's for another time.    Suffice it to read the Bible and see that the whole world is deceived and the Father Knows Perfectly All,  He Knows Perfectly what He Is Doing without ever missing anything,  without ever a spot of wrinkle or shadow of sin and not even one moment of lapse.  He is never wrong , never late,  and is well-pleased to reveal His Plan Salvation to little children.

The new popular leader who either continues to make everyone get a vaccine-number,  or who comes along and tells the people "I will set you free from the vaccine nonsense" ,   either - or,   may well  already be or turn out to be an anti-christ, like ad.hit. in Germany was (and most of the churches raised their arms and their children's arm in a heil salute!! supporting that devil) and with many already anti-christs among us there is need for continual prayer.

Hitler was a catholic.  He never won an election the got more votes than any other party but not a majority.  The Pope told the Catholic Party to vote Hitler in and then disband.  Hitler said he based his SS on the Jesuits.  He said that Himler was his Loyola.

The current Pope is the first Jesuit to become Pope.  He was  behind the Argentine dictatorship when thousands disappeared and murdered and often children were taken from them and given to Catholic families.  The US president is a Catholic, so watch out. From the time that the popes got their full persecuting powers in about AD 1200, Christian's recognised the papacy as the Antichrist. And true believers did not believe any other until the early 1800s when the Jesuit teachings of preterism and Futurism were absorbed by protestants.

Has Rome changed?
