Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted July 11, 2018 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2018 To all my OB family I want to say that I feel the need to apologize for my less than charitable recent replies that have even bordered on sarcastic. The Lord has convicted me of this sin and I wish to apologize publicly to all. My uncharitable replies are especially uncalled for as an Administrator and considering that this is not my message board and I serve at the pleasure of BroMatt. Please accept my apology and forgive me. It seems like I allow my flesh to get the best of me when I see and hear people that claim to be Independent Baptists post some of the most ridiculous things that have no place among true Baptists. This doesn't excuse my behavior and convicts me, especially when I see others respond to things of this nature with grace, Scripture and politeness. There! That feels better already. Members swathdiver
Maybe I'm too carnal and backslidden, didn't see anything wrong in your replies. Are we to suffer fools? Pastor Scott Markle, DaveW and HappyChristian

Are we to suffer fools? Sometimes it is not the words themselves, but the attitude in which those words were administered. We observe the words, but God the Holy Spirit is able to look upon the attitude. Thus if God the Holy Spirit brought conviction against what was done, although you or I do not see the fault, then God the Holy Spirit should be heeded. Although I also may not have recognized any fault in Brother Jim's responses, I do certainly honor his humility in publicly providing the above expression of humble repentance at the direction of God the Holy Spirit.
