My dream vacation spot is Jamaica. Sandals Dunn's River Resort - near Ocho Rios (8 Rivers.) My hubby and I went to Jamaica on our honeymoon in November 2000. Of course, it was our honeymoon, so it is my favorite, all-around vacation, ever. :lol :thumb Thanks for talking this poll. It was fun.

My dream vacation would be Prince Edward Island in Canada. My hubby and I are planning to visit there in September. I can't wait!!

As far as my favorite vacation place I HAVE been...that would be Tennessee. I love the mountains and the sweet people.

Hmmmm....The Washington on the poll didn't specify, but I assume it's DC. I would choose Washington state. My dream vacation, though, would have to be a month or so in Ireland, with some side trips to Britain. My next choice would be China when Katie and family are back there.

Were you able to do much? I'd heard that it was so crowded you had to wait something like 2 hours per ride. Perhaps it's better in the Spring time? I haven't been in a long time, a long long time. I don't really remember it. My aunt lives like 15 minutes from it, though. You can see the fireworks from their house every night. :smile

mine would be Ireland. If we ever get stationed in Mildenhall like we want, we can do that!

Dh wants to go to Churchill. Supposedly there are a ton of polarbears to be seen there. No, we are not tree huggers..lets all save the polarbears! LOL
Ever since he was a child, he has had a fascination w/ polarbears and would give anything to see them in the wild....at a distance of course! LOL

I haven't been on anything close to a real vacation in decades! Probably won't be able to until one or both of the boys are moved out and we're old and decrepit. I would like to be able to take my wife to Texas again some day because she's always wanted to go to the cemetary her parents are buried in one more time.

We aere able to do a LOT!!!! We used our fast pass as much as possible to get on the rides quicker. We had a blast.... it was wonderful. My mom had to use a wheelchair.... she has trouble with her knees, so therefore a lot of walking is not possible for her, but, at the same time it was great for us, because we found out that they take people in weelchairs, scooters etc.... first for rides, shows etc.... :Green So, many times we were able to get right in!!! I absolutly loved Disneyworld and can't wait to go back! The fireworks are awesome!

Whoever voted the Carolinas, I hope you get to go there, because North Carolina (Goldsboro particularly) is very quiet and spread apart, while South Carolina (Columbia) is very busy and close together. But one thing that I know is pretty much the same is the weather, humid and mainly hot in the spring and summer months. And that's why I love the Carolinas I pretty much grew up in North Carolina.

Driving through Missouri is a peaceful vacation, kind of an oasis when you consider that Oklahoma and nasty Texas reside in the Middle section of the country.

My husband works with a fellow from Jamaica who co-owns a hotel there. He's also building a new house. He told us that when he finished the house, we are to visit him there :D :cool

Otherwise, I'd really love a cruise. Anywhere.

I would love to go to So. Calif. Too bad it's 3000 miles from PA.
I still need to travel to eastern PA. I really want to but haven't had time.

Btw, Pennsylvania is the most beautiful state in this fine country.
