As an ex-Coastie, I'm flabbergasted by this. I won't go into details, but let's just say there isn't much "privacy" when taking care of normal everyday personal hygiene...unless things have drastically changed since I served in the mid 80s.

Our eldest daughter used to keep stick insects, but one of our cats ate them.

I loved the Navy but as a Christian cannot recommend serving in any of our armed forces anymore.  The left has routed out most of the patriots and God-fearing men from power and replaced them with secular-humanists with low or no morals.  

Some ships no longer have urinals to make the heads asexual so anyone can use them.  Such is absurd and I can imagine the lines of guys waiting to use the heads and those who'll just go over the side or in the bilge!  LOL  What madness!

With regards to men and women in close proximity, common sense left the building decades ago and our nation is reaping the iniquity it has sowed.  Even our submarines are co-ed now and the navy brass and Washington fools cannot understand why there are problems...

The worst offense IMO has been the devaluing of women by the feminazis throughout all areas of society.
