Bad News Today...

When I was a teenager, I became friends with a guy while working together at a local grocery store. We became great friends for several years. I thought the world of him, and he was a joy to be around. We always enjoyed good-clean fun. I joined the Coast Guard out of high school, and we lost touch.

After my service, I returned home. I found out that he was married...which later ended in divorce. A few years later, he married again...which ended in divorce.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but at some point, he started preaching during all of this...which was questionable on my part when it happened...too much to explain.

I ran into an old "mutual friend" today (whom we worked with at the grocery store), and found out that my old friend is married again...

...to another man.

Oh the depths of sin...

Nothing surprises me much anymore, but this did. Please say a prayer for "Tommy".
