Armed police at Lewes bonfire celebrations

Armed police will be at the Lewes  bonfire celebrations for the first time tomorrow evening. This is due to the increased security for fear of terrorist attacks when thousands of people with be gathered in a relatively small space,

This is a sorry state of affairs. I think it could also be ranked with things that are indicative of the last days. For the first time in our generation people have to be worried about gatherings in relation to terrorist possibilities.

We, traditionally do not automatically have armed police.  However recently the police force in our area have introduced armed officers  at Canterbury Cathedral, and Bluewater out of town shopping area, both of which they have foiled plots.

Four of the seven bonfire societies in Lewes, burnt effigies  of D Trump.  Whatever happened to G Fawkes?
