Members MountainChristian
Matthew 26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at meat. Mark 14:3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. John 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. All three say it was in Bethany. All three agree Jesus spoke up for the woman's act of kindness. Matthew and Mark tell it was in Simon's (the leper) house. Also they agree it was an alabaster box. Mark and John agree it was worth three hundred pence. Also they agree it was spikenard. Matthew and John was there and they disagree. They agree he was anointed, why do they disagree on the bodily location?
Members No Nicolaitans
He was anointed on his head and feet. Same account with different details of the account. This happens in other parts of scripture. Whereas, some may see it as a contradiction, it's actually giving more details of the account.
