He never said it was his favorite book. Yes he endorses it, (and I disagree with him), but he is one of those people who is able to take something as a novel, a piece of fiction, with a good message. It helped him while he was going through a time of difficulty that I suspect none of us have been through ourselves.  And while I disagree with him on this issue, there is so much good in the work this man has done, I am willing to let it pass and stand by him. Better than Peter Ruckman's acceptance of abortion as acceptable since in his opinion, it's not a person until it breathes.
