Members Ronda
While I do not agree with MANY of the SBC teachings... some of which are this new mysticism (really just old mysticism repackaged), the departure from the KJV, the departure from hymns and the willingness to be/act as the worldly to please the worldly, and an alarming trend of the ecumenical movement (embracing/fellowshipping with other denominations, opening the door to false doctrine at the very least)... Members John81
For what it's worth, it's a good thing they are taking a stand on this. However, as our pastor pointed out yesterday, those who choose to stand against a particular sin (typically a sin they don't engage in) but refuse to confront those sins which are more "popular" within the church, are not strong churches; they are diseased churches.
