Members John81
Is there an example in Scripture of unspoken prayer requests? Is there a biblical foundation for such? I've heard a few sermons over the years which touched upon this. Most seemed to be against such, pointing out we are to share our burdens with one another, confess to one another and such. Only maybe a couple sermons favored the unspoken prayer approach but their support was based upon emotion and human reasoning rather than Scripture. One thing that raised this question again is how often someone will contact one or more of the local churches and ask for prayer for something unspoken. At the same time they are unwilling to share what they want prayer for, the matter is known by almost everyone in town because they did share the matter with others outside church.
