Word of Faith movement

Recommended Posts

The Word of Faith movement such as that orchestrated by Benny Hinn, Mike Murdock, Paul Crouch, and others of the prosperity gospel are false teachers who twist Scripture from the Word to approve their affluent, worldly lifestyles which can not be pleasing to the Lord. I Timothy 6:10 says, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." This applies to Word of Faith preachers who abuse the Word of God to take the money of widows and widowers to increase their materialistic collection of jewelry, homes, cars, jet planes, and expensive clothing. Jesus was not rich here on earth so you would think these preachers would get it if they read the Word!
