Members bjshuf
Howdy all, I want to know where in the bible Absalom, son of King David is killed. Preacher had us in Psalms in church the other night preaching on David in Psalm 3 but mentioned in passing about Absalom being killed. I'm just wondering how that happened and how David actually felt about it. The old testament is hard for me to read but I'm trying. Personally I don't think my kids could do anything that I would be happy about them getting killed for...even if I would think it justifiable. Thanks in advanceBJ

Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted September 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 26, 2015 (edited) II Samuel 18-19 (although I recommend reading chapters 13 through 20)Also, if you download e-sword (it's free) you can do a search by single word, combination of words or exact phrases to find passages you are looking for. (Yes, I'm aware of swordsearcher and blue letter bible but are not as familiar with their use) Edited September 26, 2015 by OLD fashioned preacher trapperhoney and No Nicolaitans
Members bjshuf
Thanks. I know nothing about swordsearcher or blue search bible, but if it helps me find the passage I want in my kjv then it serves the purpose I need. Appreciate the info. BJ
Members trapperhoney
I also recommend e-sword --Â I use it all the time and love it. bjshuf
Members No Nicolaitans
I use theWord. It's also free. Different people like different things. I personally prefer theWord over e-sword, but I know people who like e-sword better. Either is a wonderful program and a blessing to have. bjshuf
