Not all churches have baptismal records nor certificates. For example, ours doesn't.

 

I am curious, why do you want one?  What does a baptism record afford, convey or accomplish? For that matter, what do you believe baptism does?

Even if the church does not keep a book of baptisms, they should keep minutes of the meeting where it was approved, at least here in the UK that would be the case.

It was in Mississippi, many times there's an unofficial (unrecorded) approval of yea / nay in relation to church membership but not baptism.

In our church the pastor will recommend the candidate to the church officers after an interview with one other member, if they agree they will give a baptism lessons and then it will be presented to the next members meeting, if the members agree, which they usually do the applicant will be baptised on an acceptable testimony.
