The Republicans have a long history now of having no backbone when it comes to any confrontation, much less a fight, over matters such as this. Time and again they have shown themselves to have no core beliefs or even standards in this area in which they will uncompromisingly stand for.

Sure, Republicans talk a good game when running for election, but once in office that's all they turn out to be, all talk, no action. As soon as they face opposition they quickly cave.

One or two Republicans here or there which might be willing to speak clearly on these matters and take some form of stand won't win the day when most Dems as well as other Repubs will be against them, or at least unwilling to stand with them.

It's clear the march against freedom of religion for Bible-believing Christians is pressing on. One of the key points from the article is pointing out how careful we will have to be from now on and how precise and cautious we will have to be in order to protect and preserve what's left of our religious freedom.

Our enemies will chip around the edges, taking jabs directly at us when there is an opening, and keep chipping the edges away while continuing with the opportunistic jabs, until there is nothing left but a narrow margin of religious liberty left for us. At that point we will face the full direct assault of the enemy. All the ground they have gained while chipping away the edges and jabbing at us will be held up as precedence for grounds to take away the last shreds of our religious liberty.

That's when our churches, our pastors, each of us will have to make that ultimate decision as to where we will stand in the face of certain and swift punishment against ourselves and our families if we make the "wrong" (according to our enemies) choice.
