Members John81
How do you change the amount of time your computer is idle before the screen saver stuff comes up? This computer has Windows 7.
Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted December 27, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2014 Start....Control panel....Display....Screen Saver. Then look for the little window with the time in it. Set the time for how long you want the computer to wait before activating the screen saver. Members John81
I went to Control Panel but there is nothing there about Display or Screen Saver?
Members John81
Okay, I found it under Personalization and then Change Screen Saver. Wonder how long I'll remember that!
Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted December 27, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2014 glad you found it. I just took a chance yours might be the same. Mine is XP, so evidently windows 7 is different.
Members John81
They can't leave things the same, that would be too easy! Does anyone know how to change the homepage on Firefox?

Members ThePilgrim
Shortest trip is to just right click on your desktop and follow the rabbit trail from there.
Administrators Jim_Alaska Posted December 27, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 27, 2014 Shortest trip is to just right click on your desktop and follow the rabbit trail from there. I had originally thought of suggesting this Larry, it is the shortest. But I have found that many that are new to computers have a hard time distinguishing different aspects of computers. We may tell them "desktop", but they may not know what that is, not realizing that the desktop is behind any opened programs. Anyway, What you suggested is the easiest way, no doubt.
