"the Lost Gospel" New Book Claims Jesus Was Married, Had Children

I think it's the Gnostics? That have said that Jesus was married to the Magdalene. But this text that was found in a library claims the same thing. As well as that there was an assassination attempt on Jesus and Mary's children.

 

Fascinating. Anyone planning to read this? I may check my library to see if they carry it.

This wasn't "lost" is was rejected when it first surfaced because it was false.

 

The media and enemies of Christ every so often rehash one of these "lost gospels" in order to try and prove the Bible is a lie, God isn't real and Jesus was a fraud. Same old lie, just another day.

there are three books with that title one from the Morman's, one from the church universal and triumphant I am cult, and the ones these quote from.  All three use the same rejected manuscript.  all three are in error.  but then why do people lump it in and make it worth a look see?

 

Anything to weaken and cheapen true Christianity.

The apocryphal "gospels" have been around for as long as the inspired ones. And were discredited for as long. 

 

The only news aspect is a new book about them - & such will never be worth reading.
