Where in the bible does it say daily repentance is needed?

It doesn't.

 

The bible teaches that it is important for us to have a clean heart, see Psalm 51:10, It also teaches us not to grieve or quench the spirit.

 

So as often as you grieve and quench the Spirit then that is how often you need to repent.

It doesn't directly say "daily repentance", but First John teaches the importance of such a practice. Who goes a day without a single sin? As we mature in Christ we should more and more come to recognize our sin, hate our sin, and be quick to confess to the Lord in repentance and receive His forgiveness and cleansing.
