The place we used to go to on Labor Day weekend when the boys were little has been changed due to new laws having to do with some fear that so many people being around certain trees on that one weekend might cause the trees stress. :icon_rolleyes: 

 

So, since everything is now out under the blazing sun and many of the attractions, participants and vendors that used to be there have stopped going, we haven't had a good place to go for a few years now.

 

It used to be great, with lots of flea market stuff, great food from little vendors, church groups and such. Homemade ice cream, pies, cakes and cookies. Rib meals, pulled pork, grilled chicken, and of course the staples of hamburger and hot dogs, as well as a variety of other foods.

PrOBably stick around home. My youngest son wants a meal my wife hasn't cooked in a long time so she might make that this weekend. We have some zucchini she plans to make zucchini bread with. I'll try to sneak some ice cream in somewhere.
