That is repeating a mantra that a low fat diet is healthy. A low carb diet is the healthy option. Fat is twice as energy dense as carb, so we can eat less, lose weight and gain fitness.

Makes me think of all these farmers and farmer's wives around here who live well into their 80s and 90s having eaten mostly meat and eggs cooked in lard for their entire lives.

Goes to show what good old hard physical work will do.
