Man's part in salvation is to believe in Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?

John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Believing means to commit myself to Him, to fully trust Him for salvation. It means to believe in such a way that I actually turn away from sin and idols and false religion to receive Jesus Christ as my only Lord and Savior.

The salvation of God is free to those who
will do what is required to receive it.

Let me add to this you have said and make it better.

The salvation of God is free to those who
will do what is required to receive it.
To receive the salvation of God,
it will cost you your life.

What did you give to God for His salvation?

Alright, which cult is this now?

Did you give your life to Jesus to receive Him as your Lord and Savior?

If you did, then you gave your life in return for the salvation of God.

You gave Jesus your life believing by doing so you
would receive the salvation of God.

True or false?

My life!  I think you put too much value on "my life".  I have nothing to give in exchange for salvation.  Jesus paid the full price.  Make yourself clear.

God bless,

Larry

You have no love to give? Nothing?  The salvation of the Lord is worth nothing to you?
