Deleted Mozilla And Moved To Chrome, Are You In?

I dropped it because they forced the man out for something he did right years ago and because I don't think queers should win all the battles.  They could really care less whether I go elsewhere but that matters little to me.  I will attempt to do the right thing whether anyone else does or not.  I have always been the sort to go out on a limb even though sometimes it gets sawn off.  If one must take a stand standing alone, so be it.  It is easy to make a stand in a crowd because the enemy may miss you and hit someone else.  This excuse that some make, "you can't beat em all" is getting old.  Easy to do nothing, but you never win either.

So, the two who said they got rid of Firefox did it because they forced Eich out.  Dave had already done away with his, for whatever reason.  Point being: no-one said anything about getting rid of it because he rescinded his stand...

Dropping Firefox is some people's way of protesting the firing of the man. If enough people do it, they will feel it in their bottom line. If you don't want to, fine. But don't accuse someone of being inconsistent because they choose to and they might have OS.

I haven't used Mozilla in years because they have for years supported same sex marriage and have made donations to them as well, this is nothing new if one were to read their manifesto concerning marriage and religion, Mitchell Baker chairwoman and the employees demanded him to leave because he done a great damage to Mozilla, this is the way these kind of people think he has no rights but theirs must prevail.

Yeah, I used to be a big Firefox fan. Lately, I've been using a browser called SlimBoat (that's what it's called on Linux).  It's called SlimBrowser on Windows. It has a built-in ad blocker and pop-up blocker that do a great jOB.

Well, maybe we should have had our own grocery stores, farms, textile and computer industries, automakers, etc?  Such would have been a much more powerful witness to this lost world than we are today.

It would be nice if smart Christian would come along and put out an operating system, internet provider and search engine that won't support these liberal causes.

 

Also, I don't know if God wants us to commune together to the point of having our own farms, industries and such filled with nothing but believers. I think he wants us spread out among the lost in their world so we can be a witness to them. The communal experiments usually fail but the thought is nice.

I've been considering using a different browser for some time, but have really been too lazy to try the various programs out there. I gave Chrome a shot some time ago and it really didn't do anything for me, so...

 

I went from Firefox to Pale Moon and told Mozilla what I thought of them.  I didn't go back to Chrome because of all the baggage that they carry being so chummy with the NSA.

I looked into this this morning and it seems that Pale Moon is nothing more than Firefox optimized to run on a Windows platform. From what I saw it looks like Pale Moon is still under the Mozilla banner. If true you may want to reconsider your choice.

Thanks also for the discussion about consistency.  My point originally was simply that we have a chance to voice our opinion and be heard at a time the company is actually listening because of the amount of press coverage.

Further, this man was ousted.  If you followed the progression of the story from the beginning, you will see how public opinion and commentary stirred the company to "accept" his "resignation" or in other people's terminology, his ousting.

I took the time to read much of the Pale Moon website and while most of the site seems to lead one to believe that Pale Moon is still tied to Mozilla if you dig down into the Technical Details page you will read the following:

 

Using the freedom of the MPL, I have therefore branded the browser Pale Moon, to clearly identify this browser as an individual product, not related to the Mozilla Corporation or official Firefox installations. 

 

That's good enough for me. I tried the slim browser, and like it okay, but it doesn't work well on all my machines and I want to have consistency across platforms. I tried Chrome again, and while it's not bad there is just something I don't care for. Don't know what it is, but...

 

So I'll try Pale Moon. Thanks for the tip and follow through.
