Shoot First Ask Questions Later . . . . Maybe

Officials defended their actions by saying they essentially had no choice but to shoot first and ask questions later.

Odd, our "Commander-in-Chief" will not even let our military operate in this manner in the middle of a war-zone, but police are perfectly justified in doing this on U.S. soil?

Unfortunately this is the new reality. Like the cops who recently shot the man who turned to lie on the ground as ordered and they shot him; or the scrawny teen that didn't even weigh a hundred pounds which four or five cops, all weighing in the neighborhood of 200 pounds, said they were afraid to try and take down physically, or the old couple that jumped up in the middle of the night when cops dressed all in black, faces covered, entered the house on a no-knock warrant and proceeded to shoot the frightened couple (later it was reported the police followed a bad tip which led to the raid).

Then there are the everyday things of cops routinely driving 10, 20 or more mph over the speed limit, harassing people, demanding special favors, etc.

Our soldiers are sent into war zones and told to not say or do anything that might upset someone and if there is danger, duck but don't shoot, and if a dozen conditions are met and they do shoot, there will be an investigation into the matter.

It seems lessons that should have been learned in the latter half of the 20th century were not learned at all.

To Protect and Serve... Government, not the people.

Courts have already ruled that citizens have no legal expectation of protection from the police.

This all comes down to the wicked and lost running government and not born-again Christians.

Where I live it is the third largest city in the state but has the largest police force, more then double the size of our largest city, our liberal mayor has built a police force to harass people and to make threats to them. if you get pulled over by one six more show up only to harass and threaten you. if you need an officer an he comes to your home they'll be six or more that will show up and harass you showing no concern that you're the victim. and it's getting worse many are getting trigger happy.

We have over three thousand homeless people here and the mayor is pushing to pass a law which will allow police officers to arrest you if you're homeless  take you to jail, book you and fine you 45.00 and then release you back on the streets.

I work with and witness to a lot of the homeless people here and many of them are families homeless because they've lost their jOBs and homes, most of the shelters are full and they have no place to go. if this law passes( the mayor will have his way) these people will be fined 45.00 they cannot pay adding to the fears they already live, Yet many will face jail who cant pay the fine and their children will belong to the state.

Not long ago 7 police officers beat and urinated on two of these homeless people and have not been fired they remain working at their desk and it appears this will be the way it ends no media coverage and ungodly men waxing worse.

Welcome to the Police State.

True, but haven't the lost always run the government?

Not necessarily.  Even the lost as recent as 50 years ago still had a reverence for God and moral absolutes, God's Ten Commandments.  Most so-called Christians don't even know the Ten Commandments today.

In watching old movies, even the liberals and charlatans had more class than many upright citizens of today.  I'm sorry, I don't think I'm articulating my thoughts right.

For the most part, the lost have always run the government. Some aspects of Christianity were very engrained in early American society but was greatly eroded away during the 20th century. While some of the lost folks once held to some aspects of Christianity, it wasn't due to reverence for God, it was a matter of secular Christianity being the societal norm at that time. Even so, a lost soul who believes there is a God, who lives by some Christian principles, is just as lost as any other lost man.

Only a very few American presidents may have even been biblically born again Christians. While all claimed to be and were known as Christian men, the vast majority were secular Christian, not biblically Christian.

Even here in this very rural, conservative, Christian area, there was a major raid conducted by "law enforcement" which took down a small meth lab recently. Why heavily armed federal forces were involved or even needed is actually a bigger long term concern than the fact there was a small meth lab in the area. Surely local and county officers could have handled this and if they needed back up the State police could have provided such. So why are the feds involved in such a tiny, local operation, as if they don't have major matters on the national scale to tend to?

Have we finally reached the point where there is no such thing as local law enforcement? Are the feds at the point of having control and involvement of all law enforcement across the land down to the trivial? What a dangerous scenario!
