Administrators HappyChristian Posted February 7, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2014 Never mind. I just googled it. Thanks anyway. LOL - it's not real popular, but it has happened. I don't know if or how much here in the states, but it seems it was an eastern thing for a while (still in just a few cases).
Members The Glory Land
As one of my former pastors used to put it - "God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve, or Eve and Anna, or Adam and Eve and Anna and Julie...one man and one woman for one lifetime."  Not according to the modern church today...  Love is Love...
Members swathdiver
Not according to the modern church today...  Love is Love...  The "modern church" as you describe in no way resembles a biblical New Testament Church of the kind that Christ founded and died for.  They are synagogues of satan. Members John81
Don't worry, it will soon be a virtual free for all with folks able to marry virtually anyone they want, along with marrying whoever else they want.  One state pointed out since they don't recognize same sex marriage it would be possible for a someone who was married to someone of the same sex in another state to then come to their state and legally marry someone of the opposite sex. In effect, that person would legally have a same sex and an opposite sex spouse. This sort of thing, as well as other matters, is part of what will eventually lead to the federal government, either by ruling of the Supreme Court or an act of Congress, claiming full authority over the matter and dictating marriage laws from DC which every state will have to abide by.  In another state it's been ruled one can have as many spouses as they like so long as only one of them is legally sanctioned by the state.  More and more shrinks are jumping on the bandwagon proclaiming consensual adult/child "love" is good for both the adult and child. They also claim that children of very young ages are able to reason well enough to decide as to whether or not they consent to sexual relations with an adult.  Even advocates of bestiality have made some progress towards having their perversion considered normal and acceptable. Members Pastor Scott Markle
Considering Brother John's post above, I wish to present a verse from my devotional study time today, expressing my unity with the category of individuals that were mentioned therein.  Ezekiel 9:4 -- "And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof." Members 1John2:15-17
It continues to amaze me how they call it "civil rights" when it is not civil according to the Bible.
Members Eric Stahl
7 in the kingdom age. Â Isaiah 4:1-4 1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach. 2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: 4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
