Imagine those churches, & people that believe their saved by works if they were allowed to enter Heaven. They would be very proud of their self for being good enough to enter Heaven because of their own 'good works' & would not humble their self before the Savior Jesus.

They would be demanding a better mansion and position, material things, because of all the good deeds they perceived that they did on earth.  Blinded by sin, their best works are as filthy rags.

One question these folks cannot answer is "How many good works do you need to get into heaven?"  Another favorite statement they have is that they are just as good as anyone else; but cannot tell you how good one must be to enter heaven.

And oh yes; lets not forget how they tell us they are just as good as those people who goes to church all the time. The sorry part about this is that sometimes they are right; when viewed thru the eyes of man.

Titus 3:5   Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Ephesians 2:10   For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Right, they would be walking about very prideful about self, & not looking up to Jesus, they would feel as if they are on His level, & having done enough good works to gain entry, they just might feel above the Savior.

Its so sad, there many churches that refuse to tell them they're 100% wrong on how to be saved, they only encourage them, wishing them God speed. The Southern Baptist Churches are very bad about this, one local SBC Church even invites their pastors to preach for them, even women pastors. After the sermon on works based salvation the pastor will stand & say, "Wasn't that just a wonderful sermon? Be sure to tell him as you pass by him at the back door how great his sermon was along with how much you appreciate him."

That is scary!
