How to Reclaim Your Youth

No, I don't care to reclaim my youth, I've got a hope from my Lord & Savior much better than having my youth back. Besides, I'm just a pilgrim, sojourner passing though this world, I am not a settler, this world in not my home, & I can't feel at home in this world any more. I've got a bright & happy future in my Homeland & I leave my time upon this earth as a pilgrim up to my Lord, when He says the time has come, I'm prepared & ready.

Of course those of this world cannot understand this, for they're so in love with this world while enjoying fulfilling the lust of their flesh with material items that youth looks so inviting.

reclaiming our youth, if it were possible, would mean spending more time in this wicked world--vexing our souls with the evil that surrounds us like what was said about Lot.

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked 2 Peter 2:7

My gray came early and I didn't hide it then and I don't hide it now. Really not sure why some want to try and hide their age and try to appear as something or someone they are not.

God says He will strengthen us, and David records that God gave him some physical abilities, and other Scripture points to similar, but Scripture doesn't say God will change our hair color for us or actually make us young, but He can make us have strength and vitality as we had when we were younger. Consider Caleb who said he was in as good shape to fight the enemy at 80 as he was at 40.

1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

The Bible is quite clear, physical strength profits little, but spiritual strength profits much, for there is no end to it if one will call upon the Lord, Philippians 4:13.

Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I likes that, "that now is, and of that which is to come."

I freely accept what God has in store for me, if youth was offered, it would be offered by the world, & I'm a citizen of Heaven trusting in Christ. Besides, I Can't Feel At Home in This World Anymore.

This world is not my home, I'm just passing through.
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

They're all expecting me and that's one thing I know.
My Savior pardoned me and now I onward go.
I know He'll take me through, though I am weak and poor.
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

Just up in Glory Land we'll live eternally.
The Saints on every hand are shouting victory.
Their song of sweetest praise drifts back from Heaven's shore
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
O Lord you know I have no friend like you
If Heaven's not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven's open door
And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.

See you on the other side.

If We Never Meet Again

Soon we'll come to the end of life's journey
And perhaps we'll never meet anymore
'Til we gather in heaven's bright city
Far away on that beautiful shore
If we never meet again this side of heaven (never meet this side of heaven)
As we struggle through this world and its strife (struggle through world and its strife)
There's another meeting place somewhere in heaven (meeting place somewhere in heaven)
By the side of the river of life (by the shining river of life)
Where the charming roses bloom forever (roses bloom ever and ever)
And where separations come no more (separations come never more)
If we never meet again this side of heaven (never meet this side of heaven)
I will meet you on that beautiful shore (meet you on that beautiful shore)

O so often we’re parted with sorrows,
Ben - e- dictions often quicken our pain,
But we never shall sorrow in heaven,
God be with you till we meet again.

Oh, they say we shall meet by the river
Where no storm clouds ever darken the sky
And they say we'll be happy in heaven
In the wonderful sweet by and by
If we never meet again this side of heaven
As we struggle through this world and its strife
There's another meeting place somewhere in heaven
By the side of the river of life
Where the charming roses bloom forever (roses bloom ever and ever)
And where separations come no more (separations come never more)
If we never meet again this side of heaven
I will meet you on that beautiful shore
